1. The shrinkage rate

While the LSR does not shrink inside the mold, they often shrink between 2.5 percent and 3 percent after demoulding and cooling.

2. The parting line

Determining the location of the parting line is one of the first steps in designing a silicon rubber like Foundry Casting Silicone Rubber injection mold.

5. Release

By vulcanizing the liquid silicone rubber easily adheres to the metal surface, the product's flexibility will make it difficult to mold.

6. Mold materials

For die plate with mould cavity, it should be made of nitrided or tempered steel to ensure high temperature resistance.

7. Temperature control

On the large mould, it is economical and effective heating method when the oil temperature is controlled.
